The Kinetic Audio Band<\/strong> (the idea is currently being piloted with a view to forming this CIC)<\/em> is an evolving interdisciplinary ensemble, laboratory, learning space and studio that brings people together to make ambitious, meaningful and experimental work across sound, story, moving image, performance and art.<\/p> Led by artist and creative director Kelly Ann Buckley, The Kinetic Audio Band operates as a shifting collective of artists, musicians, writers, makers, thinkers and curious participants who collaborate on real-world creative projects while developing practical skills, confidence and professional experience along the way.<\/p> Part ensemble and part learning environment, the organisation creates opportunities for people from a wide range of backgrounds to take part in credible artistic work - from concept albums and immersive performances to workshops, installations, salons, publications and community-led projects.<\/p> Through collaboration, mentorship and shared authorship, the CIC aims to make high-quality interdisciplinary arts practice accessible, sustainable and collectively rewarding.<\/p> Projects are designed not only to nurture creative growth, but to explore ways of working within the arts, where participants can gain credits, skills, visibility and financial opportunities, while some profits are reinvested back into future projects, learning and public engagement.<\/p> The Kinetic Audio Band is built on the idea that creativity is kinetic: constantly moving, evolving and shaped by the people who gather around it.
