The Equinox is celebrated all over the world. It happens twice a year when the sun positions itself exactly above the equator between the Northern and Southern Hemisphere, and day and night become the same length. In the Southern Hemisphere, they\u2019re getting their spring vibe on now.\u00a0<\/p>

Traditionally us folk in the northern hemisphere would have used this occasion to celebrate the second harvest, giving thanks to Mother Nature for her bounty and prepare for the days now becoming shorter and darker. Spiritually it is believed to be a time of manifesting balance, of looking back and reaping what you have sown, of showing gratitude and a time to let go of what is no longer bringing harmony to your life. It\u2019s a time to prepare for the coming of the dark and what you want to achieve during the next chapter.

Bring on the stews, fires, blankets, dark nights and toffee apples.<\/p>
