It\u2019s been so long since I\u2019ve written a blog entry!<\/p>
Good news is that\u2019s because this year I\u2019ve been super busy being productive.<\/p>
Since spring 2021 I\u2019ve had a medley of very exciting music scoring\/sound design\/sound art commissions to work on, including a music and sound design score for Levi\u2019s Footwear, (embargoed until spring 2022), and a audio-visual exhibition titled \u2018Echoes in the Fossils\u2019<\/a> as part of Focal Point Gallery\u2019s online exhibition and FPG Sounds project. There have also been other projects which I\u2019ll write about in due course.<\/p> I\u2019ve been writing, recording and publishing a variety of music for sync licensing purposes. Because I have been so busy however, I\u2019ve had to put back some commercial releases until the new year - watch this space on that.<\/p> Anyways, come the end of November, when I had finished my commissions and got through Covid (still feeling the effects though - that cough! Annoying!) I had some time to wind down and sink into the cosy darkening nights and coming of winter.<\/p> I spent some time getting back out in nature and started collecting recordings and images of the beautiful landscape. I just love the dark bare branches against the matte sky, the dulling amber leaves crumbling away and mulching back into the earth ready to nourish the soil and start life again. I designed a selection of designs inspired by all of this, which are available to buy on a varied selection of organic apparel and recycled art stock. Music releases are to follow.
